An upper gastrointestinal endoscopy allows doctors to visually examine the full lining of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum, using a soft, long, flexible, tubular instrument. It is used to diagnose problems of the upper digestive tract, take biopsies, and perform therapeutic procedures if necessary.	Colonoscopy allows doctors to visually examine the full lining of the colon and rectum, using a soft, long, flexible, tubular instrument. It is used to diagnose problems of colon and rectum, take biopsies, and perform therapeutic procedures such as removal of polyps if necessary.	The Centre is centrally located in Causeway Bay. We have professionally equipped endoscopy rooms, recovery area, consultation and changing rooms. Doctors use Olympus 290 (high-definition) video-gastroscope and colonoscope to perform their procedures in a safe and comfortable environment.	The GI Endoscopy Centre aims to provide an excellent standard of health care to our clients in a desirable environment.
